You're never too young to understand or support
What started out as a mufti-day at school for Daffodil Day ended with a wonderful donation. Elias decided he wanted to raise money for the Cancer Society. He worked through some “marketing” options with his mum and dad and after a visit to the local Cancer Society he decided to join their garage sale. Elias made his own signs, gathered some of his toys, and asked other friends to donate the toys they didn’t play with anymore. He set up his sales table and raised a whopping $173.
A way to support that grows every year
Raju is one of our incredibly generous and enthusiastic supporters. He always has a smile on his face and an infectious laugh. Raju created the group ‘Green-Fingers for Good’ and coordinates volunteers to grow and donate plants to the Cancer Society. They provided over 250 plants to sell at the Newtown Festival with all the proceeds going towards helping people affected by cancer. They were a hit with the Uni students who were looking for hardy, low maintenance plants to beautify their hostel rooms.
